Facility Details
The 20,000 square foot facility at 91 Sprague St. in Hyde Park boasts cutting-edge amenities for players including seven indoor courts, state-of-the art lighting and premium court surfaces. There is a reception area with a merchandise shop along with snacks/drinks for purchase, a locker room with showers, a performance training section and multiple viewing locations.
Coaches
Stephen Mitchell
Born in South Africa, Stephen is a three-time National Champion in platform tennis and currently ranked number 1 in the country. Successfully pivoting to pickleball, he and Johan have competed in tournaments throughout the county, garnering a national following. Stephen has been a racquets professional for 18 years, teaching pickleball, tennis and platform tennis to players of all ages and abilities. Most recently Stephen was the Director of Racquets at The Braeburn Country Club in Newton.
Sam Kim
Sam is an IPTPA certified pickleball pro instructor and has been teaching pickleball for 3 years to all ages and skill levels. In the beginning, he played tennis and eventually taught tennis for a few years. Sam transferred to pickleball 4 years ago and has medaled in many tournaments in the Northeast. As an avid young pickleball athlete, he has also played pro tournaments all around the country. According to DUPR rating, he is one of the top pickleball players in New England. For the past two years, he has been a pickleball teaching pro at Bloomfield Tennis Club.
Craig Corcoran
A PPR Certified Pro, USA Pickleball Ambassador and Engage Pickleball Sponsored Player, Craig has competed & won medals both in Men's Doubles and with his wife, Gail, in Mixed Doubles. His most recent Gold medal came at the Massachusetts Senior Games which qualified him for the National Senior Games.
Craig runs Brookline’s pickleball program and is widely known as one of the top pickleball instructors in Greater Boston. He specializes in coached play and game strategy. USA Pickleball recently recognized Craig as its Ambassador of the Month.
