The New England Tournament Series at Boston Pickle Club

The New England Tournament Series is back with another year long competition comprising six major tournaments at BPC. While the first season of NETS only gave out points for those competing in the Open and Moneyball divisions, this year ALL players will earn points toward the series prize. Players will continue to compete for wins and cash at each individual tournament, but now players at every level will look to earn points toward the series title.

What is the goal?

  • Earn the most points by the end of the series

  • The top 3 male and top 3 female point earners get a cash prize

    • Estimated Series payout to be between $5,000-10,000

Series Rules

  • You must play in 4/6 legs of the series to be eligible for the prize

  • 10 teams must compete in your division for points to be given

  • If you win the same level division twice, you must play in a higher division the next leg you participate in

What is the Series prize?

  • Estimated Series pot to be between $5,000-10,000

    • In our first series we paid out $6,000 to our top point earners

  • $5 of every registration fee throughout the year-long series will be put into a pot for the series winner

  • The prize money for the men will come from a pot of money collected from all men’s division registrations throughout the series + 50% of mixed event registrations

  • The prize money for the women will come from a pot of money collected from all women’s division registrations throughout the series + 50% of Mixed registrations

  • The top male and female point earners in the series will earn a percentage of their pot

  • Winners are determined after the Series Finale in July 2027

  • PLEASE NOTE: Anyone competing in Open, Moneyball, or any division with 14+ teams can win money at each leg of the series and the series prize at the conclusion of the sixth tournament. We will payout an estimated $40,000 in total prize money throughout the series.

The Point System

How do I earn points?

  • Play in ANY event at any of our designated tournaments

    • In our first season, only players competing in the Open or Moneyball divisions earned points. This season, everyone is eligible.

  • You earn points just for participating, so the more you play in, the more points you earn

  • You earn additional points based on how you finish in each division

  • Your best 2 events in every tournament will count toward your series point total

  • If you play in 3 events, your best 2 finishes will count toward your points 

  • You can earn points on a maximum of 8 events throughout the year-long series

  • The Series Finale will be worth 1.5x the points as any other tournament in the Series!

Season 1 Recap & Highlights

Our first season featured six tournaments beginning in September 2025 and concluded in July 2026. With over 1,000 participants over the course of the year, the Series Pot grew to $6,000. This was split amongst the top three male and female point earners.
